BOOMBETA

Working from such concepts as identity, historic memory and collective memory, Boombeta’s goal is to give visibility to the neighbour’s immaterial values. It is a project by Graner’s Applied Living Arts in La Marina’s neighbourhood, and it wishes to overcome the divide between experimental and popular whilst still having a rich cultural system in which valuable and meaningful aesthetic experiences are created. Boombeta suggests and hosts daring experiences for La Marina’s neighbours, in which they can be both spectators and creators. Boombeta creates an ecosystem centred on community and education in La Marina neighbourhood, one that can be used in many ways, by very different groups, and with diverse intensities, resonances and velocities.
