Marie Gyselbrecht

Belgian-born performer and creator, Marie Gyselbrecht began her career as a teenager performing under the direction of Alain Platel and Arne Sierens. She graduated from the Salzburg Experimental Dance Academy (SEAD) and continues to work as a performer in dance, theatre and cinema. Marie joined Peeping Tom in 2008. Since then, she is touring worldwide with the company in the productions Kind, Moeder, Vader, A Louer and 32 rue Vandenbranden. The installation ‘Waiting Room – A life in transit’ for Brussels Gallery Weekend or the full length performance ‘Taverne’, for Hotel Col·lectiu Escènic, are some of the works Marie has directed between Barcelona and Brussels since 2017.
