Clémentine Télesfort and Lisard Tranis present an open showcase of their winning piece in the emerging artists category of the 2023 creation grants call from the Mercat de les Flors.
La Mecànica de l’infortuni seeks to question the human need for resilience and expose the patterns that form in the body when faced with a challenge. It’s a reflection on the creative capacity of the imagination to intuitively navigate the various obstacles we encounter. The two artists aim to highlight discomfort that leads to movement and propose a mirror to reflect our most intimate vulnerabilities.
Clémentine Télesfort and Lisard Tranis are contemporary dance performers and creators based in Barcelona. In 2019, they began their artistic collaboration, focusing on movement and bodily expression as a communication tool. Their meeting point lies in the search for bodily states that lead to the embodiment of images, characters, and stories.
