Núria Guiu is a dancer/choreographer based in Barcelona. “Cyberexorcismo” is her latest work, in which she collaborates with a group of dancers/TikTokers. Currently, she is in technical residency at Graner, in dialogue with Mercat de les Flors.
In this project, Núria’s research focuses on the TikTok application, aiming to exorcise its tools and the bodily language from the flat screen body (which we are mostly accustomed to experiencing individually) to a scenic, physical, and shared body.
The workshop is a free invitation for people of various ages (from 7 to 60 years old), backgrounds, and experiences. It is aimed at individuals interested in dance/movement and/or the research theme. During the workshop, Núria will briefly contextualize her research and propose a movement practice through play and improvisation to experience some of the tools that have been part of the creation process.
Participants attending the workshop will be invited to participate in a part of the Cyberexorcismo process opening, which will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at 12:00 PM at GRANER.
Practical information:
