1ST EDITION OF THE GRANER’S ART AND COMMUNITY CYCLE IN LA MARINA NEIGHBORHOOD
BooMBeta is the name we give to the Graner’s art and community work line that started in 2017 with the idea of being a three-year cycle, with the support of the Pla de Barris. Programming of the 1st edition, from July 10th to 16th, 2017.
- Intergenerational dance workshop under the shelter of the neighborhood’s Fiesta Mayor
- Two narrative and performative itineraries created by Albert Pijuan, Javier Guerrero, and Mariona Naudin
- A thought encounter on art and community
- Show of the ‘Constantino’ performance by Andreu Martínez
- Action-dinner with Nyamnyam
- Oral stories from the neighborhood by Vulnus.
All activities are free.
BOOMBETA 2017: with the support of the Pla de Barris. For the ‘summer 2017’ edition, it specifically counted on the complicity of the Fiesta Mayor de La Marina, the Grec Festival de Barcelona, and Barcelona City of Literature – UNESCO, and was woven together with the Mesa de Memoria Histórica, neighborhood associations, and Graner’s resident artists.
