2ND EDITION OF BOOMBETA, CYCLE OF ARTISTIC ACTIONS IN LA MARINA NEIGHBORHOOD
Starting from concepts such as identity, historical memory, and collective memory, BooMBeta 2018 gave visibility to the intangible values of the La Marina neighborhood, with the following programming:
- Workshop “Vida Laboral” with Claudia Haga from July 2nd to 16th, 2018, at the Graner
- Presentation of “Vida Laboral” – July 17th and 18th, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Graner (as part of the ART and PART program of the Barcelona City Council for community artistic creation)
- Economics Lesson, site-specific by Jorge Dutor and Guillem Monte de Palol, Los Torreznos, and Sociedad Doctor Alonso – July 17th, 2018, 7-12 p.m. at the Jardines de los Derechos Humanos (below the Graner)
- 2 Monographic radio programs on “Vida Laboral” on Radio Nikosia – July 11th and 18th, 2018, at 4 p.m.
- “Art and Community” Day – July 19th, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Graner in dialogue with the Sant Pere Claver Hospital Foundation and the artist Bárbara Bañuelos.
Organized and curated by the Graner, with the support of the Plan de Barrios de La Marina and the ART and PART program (Barcelona Cultural District), with the collaboration of the Mercat de les Flors and different entities in the neighborhood and under the auspices of the Barcelona Grec Festival.
