6TH CYCLE OF ARTISTIC ACTIONS IN THE LA MARINA NEIGHBORHOOD
With the arrival of summer, once again Graner, a creation factory dedicated to dance and living arts, drives BOOMBETA, a cycle of artistic proposals that focuses on the long-term relationships it has been building with its closest environment: the La Marina neighborhood. This year, the BOOMBETA cycle will be traversed by the idea of laboratory and experimentation, turning Graner and the streets into spaces of practice, dance, and celebration to find convergences between citizens and artists. Other perspectives on our surroundings, the collective history of the neighborhood, and its memory will be activated to generate nine imaginaries from dance and living arts.
All activities are free, with most requiring prior reservation, from July 1st to 20th, 2023, at Graner and its surroundings. A few days before Sant Joan (June 21st), coinciding with the La Marina del Port local festival, we will present the program to the neighborhood residents in an open day at Graner activated by the center’s affiliated artists.
