Graner and Can Gassol, Centre for Performing Arts, maintain a stable collaboration linked to the annual public call for residencies at Graner. As a result of this collaboration, different artists undertake residency periods in Mataró and can create intersections with the public and educational programs at Can Gassol, as well as open dialogues with the city’s artistic communities.
During the months of May and June, the artists selected through the public call for Graner 2024 have been carrying out creative residencies in the spaces of Can Gassol, Centre for Performing Arts of Mataró:
- Søren Evinson (associate category), who opened his process in the format of an open rehearsal of Vanity Poverty Revenge on Thursday, June 6.
- Constanza Brnčić (accesit category), who conducted the workshop Lateral Practices aimed at people of all ages interested in live arts, to work on proposals that seek to mobilize the imagination through the body, voice, and word, on Friday, June 14.
- Lautaro Reyes (associate category), who opened his process Waves to the public of Mataró on Saturday, June 29.
