Noel Quintela
I was raised between Monforte de Lemos and Manán (Sarria). I studied the professional degree in contemporary dance at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. After finishing, I worked for two years with the Dantzaz company (Donostia) and, since 2023, I have been working as a freelancer in creations by Joana Providência, João dos Santos Martins, and Óscar Cobos. In the creative field, in 2022 I presented my first creation, “o panda vermello,” at the Ciclo Mexer of the Lucense History Museum, and in 2023 I presented “ex-órbita” at Tabakalera Donostia together with QBonito Colectivo. Recently, in January 2024, I started, along with Ángela Díaz Quintela, the project A p a l l e i r A in Manán, a space dedicated to creation and training related to live arts and nature.
