Residency project

Andar-es is a piece that is in the process of creation and aims to capture the encounter between two bodies. A dance proposal that explores how bodies walk individually, how they meet, and how they enrich and influence each other when united. One body formed by contemporary, classical, and electronic dance, and the other body formed by Spanish dance, flamenco, and urban dances.
In the way a person walks, characteristics of their personality and body disposition can be appreciated. What happens to someone’s way of walking after having encountered another body? How do we transform and evolve after communicating with another person? A deep and synthetic conversation through movement that reflects the diversity of artistic influences held by both performers.
