In the framework of the TIAF (Children, Adolescence, and Family Table), within the group “Healthy Affectivity and Sexuality,” different initiatives emerged in 2018 with the aim of improving youth care. Since two public facilities, Graner and the Sant Pere Claver Health Foundation, were located in our area, we thought we could start lines of collaboration, bringing the expertise of each facility to implement solid projects for the benefit of the neighborhood’s youth.
The goal was for the boys and girls to connect with the world of live arts and artistic languages, in their contemporary context. This meant enhancing their ability for expression, symbolization, self-awareness, both bodily and emotionally; all factors of recognized importance in improving their capacities, resources, self-esteem, and, therefore, their psychopatological state.
