BOCA #1 invites us to listen to the conversation between Arte Factum and Oihana about the research project ‘Bailarinxs sonorxs’, in residence at Graner in the fall of 2020.
How does the practice of dancing condition our daily lives? How is dance related to someone who has approached it academically versus someone who engages with it intimately? ‘Bailarinxs sonorxs’ is an artistic research project that questions the “bailarinx” (What is it? What is it like? What does it do? etc.) from its multiple possibilities and concrete realities. That is, from the “bailarinx” who has been trained within the standards of “the History of Dance” and has chosen to professionalize in this “specialization,” to the “bailarinx” as an ordinary person who experiences dance and engages with it in a vital way, outside of a “professional-economic project.”

Recorded at Sala P of Graner on an afternoon in October 2020
