El Jardí (The Garden) is part of a trilogy titled The Garden, freely inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights. It is a creation conceived for normative and non-normative bodies of volunteers aged between 18 and 99, aimed at exploring the human body through a single, non-exclusive capability: that of pleasure. In this vision, human diversity is entirely leveled — all equal — within a grand garden of delights. Set in a blank landscape, La Taimada seeks to present a garden of bodies, a space inhabited by the physical beauty of beings who move by simple instincts, regardless of their shapes, needs, and physical or motor abilities. In the midst of their creative process, La Taimada, artists-in-residence at Graner in 2022, open the doors of their rehearsal room to share this Garden with the public. After the showing, we will open a collective conversation about what we have seen.
