Mila Ercoli

Mila Ercoli is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between the performing arts, visual arts, photography, and audiovisual media. Her practice draws from the intersection of science, illusionism, esotericism, and psychomagic, exploring perception through various media and from a deeply analog approach. From this intersection emerge different creative formats that blur the boundaries between reality, fiction, and time, inviting the viewer to inhabit this uncertain territory where the gaze expands. Through the use of crystals and prisms, which are the essential tools and materials underlying all her practices, she has developed a distinctive language that engages with light and perception, generating experiences that transform reality by revealing what is normally invisible to the naked eye.

Appear-Disappear (2026) is a performative act, a psychomagical practice that inhabits the border between the visible and the invisible. Through the analog manipulation of light, it transforms the space into a stage of optical illusions, where the real and the impossible intertwine. The performance unfolds like a ritual, an ephemeral and supernatural experience that touches perception and awakens sensitivity. A space where elements combine to materialize what normally remains hidden, opening doors to unknown dimensions. It is a choreography with light, time, and space—an invitation to inhabit a moment suspended between the tangible and the intangible, where the everyday becomes extraordinary and the invisible becomes present.
