Jordi Latorre

Jordi Latorre is an audiovisual artist and artistic director of performing arts, whose projects create mysterious spaces where the boundaries between body and image dissolve. After studying film and directing the documentary La verdadera lucha es con el duende, his approach to flamenco expanded his audiovisual perception beyond the screen. From this research emerged Bordes y heridas del duende, a flamenco and audiovisual stage work premiered in 2024 at Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, with residencies at Fabra i Coats and La Aceitera, and presented at Dansa Metropolitana 2025. This project opens a line of research into audiovisual media as another form of flamenco art. He is currently developing his work Después del diluvio electrónico and also works as a curator, creating contexts such as RUIDO JONDO.

Después del diluvio electrónico (2026) is a flamenco and audiovisual performance that invites the audience to close their eyes. In a multi-screen environment dominated by hypervisibility, the bodies remain somnambulant, with tired gazes. Yet, from their last rupture emerges the desire to act—to take a step back into the world of shadows and cross the threshold to change perception. In this new realm of mystery and dreamlike reverie, the bodies transform the surfaces of the images, altering their shapes to find, in their physicality, the pores that reveal a spectral essence.
