Bal Castro
Bal Castro is an actor and dancer trained in physical theatre at ESAD Galicia. He has also trained in contemporary dance at Oficina Zero in Porto, under the guidance of choreographer and artist Mafalda Devile. He is co-founder of the theatre-dance company ENÉSIMA, together with Inés Santos. In July 2025, he took part in Colectivo RPM’s Residencias Paraíso 2025 with the project Instinto Deseo, presented at the Fiot Festival in Carballo.
He is currently part of CONTRACIELO, an artistic mentorship programme by Réplica Teatro and Fundación SGAE, as well as the contemporary dance creation project led by the ICODACO collective. In September 2024, he worked as movement assistant on Corte lo de Amor, a production by Amorodio Teatro. In 2023, he took part in Residencias Paraíso alongside Inés Santos with the project TRANSPARENTAR, which led to a second artistic residency in 2024 at Residencias Artísticas y Acción Cultural El Palacio in Xixón.
