La Casquería

La Casquería was set up in November 2012 by dancers and creators Raquel López (Ponferrada, 1981) and Anna París (Barcelona, 1978), and conceived as a collective for artistic creation in the area of the arts of movement and contemporary dance.

From then, the collective commutes between Seville and Barcelona and Brussels, where they bring their creations to life in artistic residence (Graner-Centre de Creació, Centro de las Artes de Sevilla – CAS, l’Estruch, La Caldera, etc.) and where they continue with their training in contemporary dance and other disciplines linked to the arts of movement and performance.

The members of La Casquería carry out their artistic activity both individually and collectively, creating work synergies with other creators to get their artistic multidisciplinary projects underway.  As a collective, La Casquería sees art and creation as a vehicle for social transformation and change that is open to any form of expression.
