Aimar Pérez Galí

Aimar Pérez Galí is a dancer, choreographer, researcher, and dance pedagogue with 20 years of professional experience. He has collaborated with renowned artists both nationally and internationally, and his works have been co-produced by Mercat de les Flors and the Peralada Festival, among others. In the field of education, he has dedicated the past 10 years to the Conservatory of Higher Dance Studies, where he served as Head of the Dance Pedagogy Department and as deputy director. He co-founded CondeGalí BL with Jaime Conde-Salazar, through which they undertake work related to research, education, and the publication of practices that engage the body in action.

Residency project

In Èpica four performers deliver their energy & offer theirselves as space-time excitation agents in a session of epic techno. They do it in a temporary space that uses the theatrical resources to produce an aesthetic experience operating on an affective, sensory level, while also providing a platform for feminist, post-colonial criticism, giving voice to the epic struggles that do not conform to the western canon of heterosexual norms to generate an alternative paradigm to freedom.
