Ana Erdozain

I am Ana Erdozain, creator, performer, and visual artist. My artistic work is born from the need to understand and learn from what moves through me, provokes me, and confronts me with themes that oscillate between the social and the more intimate. My artistic development arises from the need to transform concerns and questions into proposals that open up conversations, in a liminal space between body, image, text, and sound. From this place, I am interested in finding my own language that expands my creative communication possibilities and allows me to relate to art from who I am. My educational and professional path has been enriched by working with creators such as Carlota Ferrer, Alba González, Raquel Sánchez, Danza Mobile, Julia de Castro, Chevi Muraday, Antonio Fernández Lera, Elena Córdoba, and Ana Buitrago.

Cuerpo acumulado (2025) is a project that explores, through corporeality, photography, sound, and video art, the idea of a trapped body—a body shaped and burdened by social aesthetics—that needs to expand and break free. It is a reflection on the vulnerable body, a body full of physical and emotional scars, and on how to place the body in a state of emptiness to allow it to generate new physicalities and bodily contexts. An emptiness that proposes an infinity of possibilities, a new mental reconstruction of the body that banishes social expectations.
