Ana Maíra and Khadim
Ana Maíra Favacho is a Brazilian dancer and choreographer, trained at the Centre des Arts du Cirque Le Lido in France (2016) and at CECA – Centro de Formação em Artes Circenses (2012). She holds a degree in Communication and Performing Arts – Dance and Circus – from Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès, France, where she also worked with several companies both in Brazil and Europe, such as Circo Mínimo, Cía Lindas Aéreas, Cía Solas de Venta, Circo Roda Brasil, and Acrobático Fratello, among others. Her research focuses on the body and its expressions, with an emphasis on popular manifestations of African roots.
Khadim Ndiaye is a Senegalese dance artist, choreographer, and educator, passionate about the body’s creative impulses. He graduated in Contemporary and Neoclassical African Dance from the Alvin Ailey Dance Academy, Senegal (2015). He has trained and performed with numerous ballet companies, including Cia Ballet Silaba, Ballet André Lorenzetti, Ballet Nacional La Linguère, and Cía Seneafrica.
