Azkona&Toloza
Located halfway between the Mediterranean Sea, the Pyrenees and the Atacama Desert, Laida Azkona Goñi and Txalo Toloza-Fernández are an artist duo dedicated to the creation of live arts projects. Interested in the infinite possibilities of poetry and visual anthropology, lo-fi video creation, performance and movement, their most recent works focus on the development of documentary live arts projects.Among other venues, their work has been presented at the Grec Festival and the Sâlmon Festival of Live Arts in Barcelona; the Thèâtre de la Ville and the Festival d’Automne in Paris; Thèâtre Garonne in Toulouse; EuroSzene in Leipzig; La Bâtie Festival in Geneva; FIAC in Salvador de Bahia; the Mirada Festival in Santos and São Paulo; the Museo Universitario del Chopo in Mexico City; the Romaeuropa Festival in Rome; the Buenos Aires International Festival; FITEI Digital in Porto; the National Salon of Artists of Colombia in Bogotá; Naves del Matadero and Teatro Español in Madrid; NAVE in Santiago de Chile; Escena Abierta in Burgos; and Temporada Alta in Girona.
