Jordi Galí

Born in 1980, he studies Contemporary Dance at Institut del Teatre de Barcelone. As a dancer Jordi Galí works with Emilio Gutiérrez (1997-1999), Wim Vandekeybus (1999-2001), Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (2001-2003), Lies Pawels (2004-2005) and Maguy Marin (2005-2010), among others. In 1998, he is awarded with the price to the Best Dancer by the Certamen Coreográfico of Madrid, and in 2005 with the honorific price to the Best Actor by Kontact International Theater Festival of Torun (Poland). Since 2001, Jordi Galí is developing his own personal work and founded Cie Arrangement Provisoire in 2007. Since 2014 he shares the Artistic Direction together with Vania Vaneau. Between 2011 and 2014 he becomes Associated Artist at RamDam Arts Center (Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon). Since 2016 untill 2018 he and Vania Vaneau will be Associated Artists at Le Pacifique CDCN de Grenoble. The dialog between gesture and mater is at the core of his last works.
