La Macana
La Macana is a dance company based in Galicia in 2009 by the creators and performers Caterina Varela and Alexis Fernández. They have collaborated with other artists and have a strong international projection. With their first work, “Ven”, awarded on different occasions and presented in more than twenty countries, they managed to open a gap in the international scene that helped them maintain collaborations with other artists and foreign institutions over the last few years. They combine their creative work with the pedagogical, being also invited teachers in different international centers.
