Lucas Lagomarsino

Luqui Lagomarsino is a choreographer and dance performer born in Buenos Aires, based in Amsterdam, and trained at the SNDO School for New Dance Development. He explores new ways of writing dramaturgies, working on reorientations, choreographic decompositions (both personal and social), and the future as a subjective potential, considering movement as a necessary artifice in our language. He is the creator of works such as Cosas caen fuerte, Literal, and Trio Z.

DUPLEX STUDIO (2025) presents itself as a twisted room, stretching through its (double) height, where dance coexists with movement as a symptom of language and (dis)orientation as prophecy. There are dimensions that surround us daily and of which we are witnesses only in isolated moments. Cracks of otherness that, when they manifest, suspend our mundane and digital experience to reveal themselves as magical generators. What happens when we venture into these cracks? Focusing on issues that lie at the crossroads between the broken and the fantastical, this back-and-forth movement creates space to explore different types of bodies in an attempt to understand inner fascinations, contemporaneity, and storage.
