Residency project

Glatir is a popular circus project that both celebrates tradition and offers a critical interpretation of it. Under the direction of Magda Puig and Oriol Escursell, the production explores various folkloric manifestations from Catalonia, the Valencian Country, and the Basque Country with the aim of reflecting on the role that tradition plays in today’s society. Amidst the festivity of the square, amidst joy and delight, the circus becomes a meeting space that simultaneously considers tradition as the world evolves.
