Magdalena Garzon
I have been dedicated to contemporary dance for over twenty years. I combine my work as a choreographer and performer with artistic mediation, participating in projects in the socio-educational field. Since 2017, I have been developing a personal project of practical and theoretical research around dance creation with individuals with visual diversity, as well as generating spaces for meeting and discussion around co-audiodescription in dance and accessibility in artistic practice. I regularly collaborate with the accessibility team at the CCCB. At the same time, I am interested in the interventions between pedagogy and artistic practice in formal and non-formal education contexts, being part of the coordination of the project called Toolbox at Graner and other educational and mediation projects at Mercat de les Flors.
