Recuerdo número 7
Recuerdo Número 7 is a creative duo formed by Javier Ara Sauco and Enrique López Flores, focused on producing choreography in various formats: performance, installation, and other transdisciplinary artistic projects.
Javier Ara Sauco studied music in his hometown of Huesca, Spain. After that he came to dance as a student of the Superior Conservatory of Dance María de Ávila in Madrid. In 2015, he became a member of the young company IT Dansa in Barcelona under the artistic direction of Catherine Allard. From 2018 to 2021 he danced in Hessisches Staatsballett under the direction of Tim Plegge and Bruno Heynderickx. After that, he finishes his superior dance studies in Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and starts working as a freelance dancer. In 2022 he participates in the Biennale Dance College in Venice under the direction of Wayne McGregor. There he met Saburo Teshigawara and since then he began to collaborate with his dance company KARAS, dancing in several projects around Europe and Japan.
Enrique López Flores began his studies in contemporary dance at the Professional Dance Conservatory of Barcelona. After that he joined IT Dansa, the young dance company of the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona, under the artistic direction of Catherine Allard, where he danced choreographies by Alexander Ekman, Ohad Naharin, Jiři Kylián, Rafael Bonachela and Sidi Larbi. From 2018 to 2021 he worked at Hessisches Staatsballett under the direction of Tim Plegge and Bruno Heynderickx. From 2022 he works as freelance dancer and combines it with the development of his own artistic work.
