Sleepwalk Collective
Sleepwalk Collective is an award-winning live-art and experimental-theatre company creating fragile, nocturnal performances between the UK and Spain. Formed in London in 2016, and currently based in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque Country, we make original Works for teatres and unconventional spaces that emerge from a fascination with pop culture, high art and mass communication, and with the mysteries and complexities of our relationships with one another. Our work is characterized by an innovative use of news tecnologies, densely poetic text, hypnotic use of sound and lights, minimalista staging, an unconventional re-imagining of theatrical forms, and a delicate combining and layering of different elements. As well as working in the UK and Spain, we have toured word across Europe and to Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Cuba. We currently combine the creation and performance of new work with a range of other activities including production, teaching and mentoring.
