Thomas Hauert · La Bolsa
La Bolsa is a group of international artists who met in the city of Barcelona:
Anna Rubirola, Cecilia Colacrai, Federica Porello, Iris Heitzinger, Mireia de Querol, Natalia Jimenez, and Xavi Moreno.
Their common interest is a movement investigation based on scores, which create very concrete and elaborated frames of work, and at the same time give space to the ability of the interpreters to apply their own creative intuition both in the studio and in the encounters with a public. They come together in the formation Group La Bolsa to propose to the Belgium based choreographer Thomas Hauert to collaborate in “The measure of disorder”, a co-creation in which the primary interest lies in establishing a dialogue on the working method of Thomas, which will be reinterpreted and filtered through their own experiences.
In 1998, the Swiss dancer Thomas Hauert formed his own company of contemporary dance ZOO/Thomas Hauert and has created more a dozen pieces which have toured all over the world. He has also created pieces for e.g. P.A.R.T.S., the Zurich Ballet, Toronto Dance Theatre and Candoco Dance Company. Hauert is the academic director of the new bachelor degree in contemporary dance at the school La Manufacture in Lausanne since 2014. In Barcelona he has presented Modify, Walking Oscar and Accords with ZOO and the duet From B to B with Angels Margarit and La mesura del desordre with the group La Bolsa.
