Trànsit Dansa

With over 20 years of experience, Trànsit Dansa produced wide variety shows and got some international prestige. Created by internationally renowned choreographer Maria Rovira, Trànsit Dansaworks with contemporary choreographies and a technical rigor for immersion in intimate matters of the human being, dealing issues like the desire and memory. Maria Rovira’s degree in ballet at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid and has formal studies at the Centre International de la Danse in Paris. Throughout his career she has conducted several training courses in renowned international dance schools – like at Cunningham New York, International Dance Center and Maison de la Danse in Lyon – and has worked with companies around the world, as the National Ballet of Cuba, New World Ballet of Caracas and the Hispanic Ballet of New York.
In addition, Maria Rovira has extensive international experience as a choreographer and teacher, and in recognition of his work, she received the National Dance Prize of Catalonia in 1998.
