Body, anatomy, and movement sessions for 5th and 6th grade students. The starting point of this year’s research is a body that is in full transformation. How can we better understand this body and its anatomy through group movement practices? The idea is to approach and delve into the body (as it is now) through research, exploration, and “three-dimensional experience.” Moving, talking, questioning, exploring, crossing, touching, discovering, feeling, stirring,… and with this, perhaps, creating new movement habits in the classroom, an increase in body awareness, and well-being.
Claudia Solwat is passionate about the body and its particularities and possibilities. She develops her research YOUR BODY, YOUR TEACHER, within the Graner educational project – Caixa d’eines. She accompanies different stage projects during their creation. She offers and designs dance training for different groups. She is part of the collective MOVE ANATOMY and is currently studying Diafreo – an integrative body method.
The Graner educational program is part of the Caixa d’Eines program, promoted by the Pla de Barris de Barcelona, which consists of introducing artistic practices into the school curriculum with the aim of reducing inequalities between the city’s neighborhoods.
