During the early years of life, the body moves instinctively, free from prejudice, though it is soon to become burdened with (im)positions. In the formation of the emotional bond between child and adult, their interactions are essential. For this reason, our goals include experimenting within the family and collaborating with nursery schools on long-term projects. By observing groups of young children—how they play—we explore what we can offer through the language of the body and movement.
- Artistic experience with children in the classroom led by the Big Bouncers collective, focusing on the relationship between bodies, materials, and objects. Two distinct moments were proposed for experiencing this process: one where the children are observers, spectators; and another where they are invited to interact with the discovered elements in free-form play.
- Intergenerational workshop of play and movement designed to explore, investigate, and enjoy new forms of connection and communication, with the Big Bouncers collective. An exploration—at different paces and times—of one’s own space and the spaces we share, using our bodies and a variety of materials. We aimed to offer families a high-quality space-time experience, outside of daily routines.
