Big Bouncers delivered both a classroom and a family workshop based on their research Jungle, with nursery and early childhood students from EBM El Cotxet, EBM Niu d’Infants, EBM Collserola, and Espai Familiar Casa dels Colors.
“The classroom becomes a little jungle, where we discover textures, colours, and shapes. A dance that plays with rugs, vines, and other objects from this ecosystem, inviting children to explore it through free movement. A space where the whole family comes together to move, discovering through the body and play different materials that unfold to create our own personal jungle. Together, we create new landscapes and play by moving through them —over, under, between, and across.”
- Classroom workshop ‘Unfolding the Jungle’ with the Big Bouncers collective: an artistic experience in the classroom offering children a rich movement proposal that avoids conventional dance patterns, broadening their perception of their own body.
- Family workshop ‘Together in the Jungle’ with the Big Bouncers collective: we invite families to share a quality space and time outside of daily routines, moving together and exploring the body language of both adult and child.
Graner’s educational programme is part of the Caixa d’Eines initiative, promoted by the Pla de Barris de Barcelona, which introduces artistic practices into the school curriculum with the goal of reducing inequalities among the city’s neighbourhoods. Graner carries out its Caixa d’Eines-related educational activities in primary and secondary schools in the Marina de Port district.
