The En Trànsit In Transit) sessions took place on May 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2024. These were three days during which students from the eight public educational centers in the Marina neighborhoods who had participated in the Caixa d’Eines Education and Culture Program of the Pla de Barris shared their creative processes, practices, and experiences with other student participants.
- At Graner, a center for dance and live arts creation, dance pieces created throughout the school year by secondary school students from Montjuïc and Domènech i Montaner high schools were presented, led by artists Joao Lima and Maria Ferrer, with mediation by Graner. Radio programs created by 6th grade students from Enric Granados School and 5th grade students from El Polvorí School with AMCL were also presented at Graner.
- At Can Clos School, 4th grade students presented the participatory and sensory theater piece De qué está hecha la felicidad, created with the association La Inefable. Meanwhile, students from Pau Vila, along with artist Claudia Solwat, conducted a “contamination” session with Can Clos students as part of their project Your Body, Your Teacher.
- At SEAT School, Mireia de Querol presented Game Score, a project led by her with 4th A and 4th B students and accompanied by Judit Gelabert Castillo, a dance pedagogy student from the Institut del Teatre.
- At Ramon Casas School, a joint project was developed between 5th grade students from this school and 1st-year secondary students from Lluís Domènech i Montaner High School, with support from La Inefable.
- At the Maremar Hall, audiovisual creations made by students from both high schools in the neighborhood were presented.
- At La Bàscula, radio programs created by 5th grade students from SEAT School and 5th and 6th graders from Can Clos School were showcased, supported by the La Marina FM team, along with a community percussion and interculturality project developed by students from Montjuïc High School, guided by Brincadeira, a batucada company based at Espai Jove La Bàscula.
Graner’s educational projects are part of Caixa d’Eines, a program by ICUB, the Barcelona Education Consortium, and the Pla de Barris, present in 49 educational centers across the city.
