Transhumant Bodies
“This proposal aims to work on a type of body that stays, listens, and acts in a particular way in the space it occupies. In the first period of the meetings, I suggest delving into the movement proposal: BODIES IN BALANCE. In any of the exercises I propose, we will work with a type of LISTENING that involves respect and openness. These elements are essential for being more receptive to any small or large change in weight. This attention fosters a way of relating to other bodies and also to their environment with respect, care, and a certain intimacy. Taking transhumance as a reference, I want to propose a way of being and crossing the outdoor space. A way of exploring and relating to the immediate surroundings of the school, the space between houses, between buildings: the public space.”
