“Sin docente no hay proyecto” arises from the desire to continue discovering, researching, and working together with Raquel Navarro, music teacher at Escola Enric Granados, and the children of the school. The project aims to develop as a continuation of the practice “En un sí desconegut,” where we were able to establish a bond of trust, listening, and growth between both figures: the teacher and the artist, throughout the 21-22 school year, within Graner’s Caixa d’Eines educational program. Thus, “Sin docente no hay proyecto” is a call to keep seeking horizontality and synthesis between the artist and teacher figures to enrich, through play and discovery, all the possibilities offered by the fusion of music and dance; this time, however, with a new group of children.
- I declare the desire to enjoy: enjoy the teacher in her practice and daily routine.
- I declare the desire to enjoy the children, bringing them to a space of trust, play, knowledge, and self-knowledge.
- I declare the intention of non-intention (or non-programming), allowing constant adaptation of whatever is necessary for the project.
- I declare and desire triangular listening between students, teacher, and artist.
- I declare and desire that learning comes from a pleasurable space for everyone.
