Presentation “Jaca” by Mar García and Javi Soler and students of Institut La Sedeta.

On Wednesday, May 13, the 4th-year ESO students of Instituto La Sedeta present Jaca, the project they have been developing throughout the school year with creators Mar García and Javi Soler במסגרת the EN RESiDÈNCiA program. Mar and Javi have proposed a work based on body and sound that reflects their stage practice as creators.

Welcome to JACA, a residential camp located in the heart of the natural ecosystem of the city of Barcelona, next to Montjuïc hill and Paral·lel Avenue. JACA is a compositional experience, highlighting its leisure facilities such as the swimming pool, the climbing wall, and the choreographic score as a creative tool. We offer a wide range of uses of space and chairs, with our own coach service and capacity for 16 performers and young creators. Come and discover this essential landscape of composition, where Albert and Sílvia will make you feel at home and allow you to experience a performance without incident. The price of the night includes breakfast the following day.

Direction and mentoring: Mar García and Javi Soler. Choreographic, sound, and textual composition: Mar García and Javi Soler together with the rest of the performers. With the 4th-year ESO students of Instituto La Sedeta: Noa Arnal, Ferran Basallote, Paula Canal, Luis Castillo, Anabel Chaparro, Sara Collazos, Laura Donés, Oleksiy Filipev, Natally Galdámez, Miya Piskunova, Lia Pérez, Ona Palau, Bernat Roselló, Ariana Rivas, Ona Roses, Zoe Sharp.

The process has been accompanied by the teachers Albert Bassas and Sílvia Masdéu.
