Graner took part in the end-of-year event of the Caixa d’Eines programme of the Pla de Barris de La Marina. The event showcased several actions that reflected classroom work from the Institut Montjuïc, Enric Granados School, SEAT School, El Polvorí and Can Clos.
El Graner facilitated the research project Sonarlo Todo by Óscar Bueno with 2nd-year secondary students from Institut Montjuïc, as part of the elective subject Arts Vives, with Imma Solé as teacher and regular collaborator with El Graner, and accompanied by Magdalena Garzón, Graner’s educational mediator during the school year. In Sound Everything, students explored together with Óscar the sounds of everything that surrounded them, using different systems of representation, generation, and capture.
We shared the event on June 8, 2022, from 10 am to 2 pm, with:
- Cinema en Curs, with 4th and 2nd-year students from Institut Montjuïc, Pablo García and the mediation of A Bao A Qu.
- Susurrando recuerdos, with 3rd-year students from Can Clos School and the mediation of La Inefable.
- School radio, with 5th and 6th-year students from Enric Granados, SEAT and El Polvorí schools, with the Local Media Association.
- Percussion and interculturality, with 3rd and 4th-year students from Institut Montjuïc, Brincadeira and the mediation of Espai Jove La Bàscula.
Graner’s educational projects are part of Caixa d’Eines, (Toolbox), a programme by ICUB, the Barcelona Education Consortium and Pla de Barris, active in 49 educational centres across the city.
