On 6 July 2026, El Graner hosts Open Studio +CONTACT x Grec Pro, a professional gathering designed to connect dance companies with international presenters, programmers, and cultural agents. The event is organised by Xarxaprod, acting as the technical office and lead organisation for the +CONTACT initiative, which aims to foster the internationalisation of dance as part of the Second Dance Promotion Plan (2023–2026). Throughout the day, works in progress by Silvia Batet, Carmela Muñoz, La Cerda, La Gualtero, Ester Guntín, and Angel Duran are presented.
The Internationalisation of Dance programme is one of the eleven measures included in the Second Dance Promotion Plan (2023–2026), an initiative coordinated with the Markets Area and the Performing Arts Area of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC). Its aim is to strengthen the sector and promote the presence of Catalan professional dance both nationally and internationally, supporting the entire value chain from creation and production to presentation and dissemination. The programme is led by the Association of Dance Professionals of Catalonia (APdC), the Association of Professional Dance Companies of Catalonia (ACPDC), and Xarxaprod, which serves as the technical office.
On Wednesday, 8 July, El Graner also hosts the closing event of the 2026 Mentorship Programme in Dance and Movement Arts Management and Production, another initiative developed within the Second Dance Promotion Plan (2023–2026).
The programme has consisted of ten sessions: nine specialised training sessions led by active professionals in the field and one final session devoted to the presentation of participants’ projects. The training has been complemented by individual mentoring sessions tailored to the specific needs of each project. The closing event brings together participants to present their final projects before a panel of experts from the fields of dance and movement arts.
