NETWORKS AND CONTEXTS IN WHICH GRANER PARTICIPATES

Graner actively collaborates in juries and commissions of projects in the field of creation at a territorial level, as well as with work and thinking days with different networks and organizations linked to dance, the living arts and especially the ‘artistic support and creative residencies.

Within the Barcelona City Council’s Art Factories network, we actively participate in the plenary meetings of the factories’ management, where decisions are made about the actions to be developed as a network and the artistic coordinator is also an active part of the cultural policy commission.

El Graner is a member of XARXAPROD, a network of production and creation spaces in Catalonia, from where we want to make visible the work carried out by the center sector and its importance within the fabric of professional creation.

During 2025, Graner joined the European Dance Network (EDN) together with Mercat de les Flors, a founding member of EDN since 2004, and specifically plays an active role in coordinating the group of Spanish organisations that are part of the network.

PLATAFORMA is a working space promoted by several residency centres from Spain and Latin America — Nau Ivanow (Barcelona), Espai Inestable (Valencia), and Fundación La Parisina (Argentina) — with the aim of creating a stable framework for reflection, exchange, and the development of critical thinking around artistic residencies.

A national network of artistic residency centres and projects that, informally, meet once a year to share methodologies for accompaniment, territorial engagement, and management models, with the aim of establishing the foundations for a future stable network.

As Graner we participate in various festivals, platforms and artistic meetings, with the aim of being close to contemporary creation from different sides and to discover other methodologies an to put us in relation to different professionals and artists.

Intensive working days or trips to other similar centers by the entire Graner team to feed on knowledge and find long-term spaces to think together.
