For the fourth consecutive year, Mercat de les Flors–Graner, in dialogue with the CND Centre national de la danse, invites local artists to take part in the Camping experience, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary and takes place in Lyon.
Camping is a festival and an international platform of workshops and performances, a unique experience with artists from the international choreographic scene. Camping is an artistic space where all the experiences of dance, theatre, performance and visual arts can find expression. It is aimed at everyone involved in dance and the arts, whether students, teachers, performers, choreographers or researchers, while also welcoming a wide audience of amateurs and spectators. An international event that has established itself over the years as a unique forum for exchange and creation.
For the 10th anniversary of Camping, an XXL edition will be held in Lyon, bringing together 600 campers, including 200 students from 24 art schools around the world, for 25 workshops organized at the Centre national de la danse in Lyon, Les SUBS, the Maison de la danse, the CNSMD de Lyon, the studio Chatha and the Théâtre Le Ciel, Scène européenne pour l’enfance et la jeunesse ; it is also a dozen performances, a marathon of schools, conferences, screenings and parties.
In 2025, Graner–Mercat de les Flors invited Alina Sokulska (Graner’s 2025 resident artist selected through the public call in the emerging category) to attend Camping 2025, where she took part in a workshop led by choreographer Radouan Miriza, focused on rhythm as a driving force for dramaturgy.
