“This publication deals with things that affect me in the practice of accompanying other artists. Trying to trace two erratic and nonlinear lines – that of creative processes and that of accompaniment – I move the writing through exercises, descriptions, memories, ways of doing, and reflections. Perhaps an idea I present at the end of the text could serve to begin a process, or a question I pose in the middle could have appeared at the start of another collaboration with someone. This reflects precisely the same practice I carry out when I find myself in a ‘situation of accompaniment’, where time becomes blurred, affections mix, and perspectives take a turn.”
