Open studio by Guillem Jiménez / laSADCUM

Guillem Jiménez, Graner’s 2026 resident artist in the Creation modality, opens the doors of the studio to share some of the choreographic materials that are shaping EVERAFTER. Together with members of his team, he will present part of his choreographic research and engage in a conversation about his work.

EVERAFTER (2026) continues to explore, through choreography, the physical and cultural mechanisms shaped by digital education. This time, the work focuses on the archetype of the intern as a representation of the capitalist, techno-feudal, and authoritarian logics of the neoliberal era we live in, drawing on superheroes, video games, and marketing. The piece examines the role of fictions, promises, and fantasies within authoritarian and corporate politics, using irony, absurdity, and the brandable-memetic as tools of (in)action.
