Open Studio by Juan Carlos Panduro

A hybrid project between circus and poetry, Salar la pena brings a body in crisis to the stage. Through handstand, contortion, and voice, it explores failure, loss, desire, and everything that connects the sacred to the monstrous. A liturgy of cleansing and emptying, a call to the beyond. At Graner, Juan Carlos opens up his creative process and presents a fragment of the piece to test the format he will showcase at the Circus Next 2025 Final.

I’m no longer afraid of what’s outside,
I’m afraid of what stays inside.
