Who cares for whom? is a performative invitation to (negotiate) certain research practices, both extreme and tender. Elena Zanzu opens a space for dialogue and experimentation around power dynamics, consent, and care, which have given rise to the performance EZ. What happens when a human body is tied up and manipulated consensually? Is there room for care? Can we laugh? What are we consenting to without knowing it? What power dynamics emerge? Is it a ritual? Between whom will a dialogue be generated? (How) will we build a relationship? (How) will those present support this relationship? What does it mean to give support? And to receive it? Who cares for whom? Who worries about whom? Who cares for whom?
