Mentorship program for several artists from the open call residency program. The aim of artistic mentorship or external accompaniment is to facilitate the entry of a dance professional into the rehearsal room to create a shared space from an external, attentive perspective situated at a specific moment in the artists’ research and creation processes. The mentorship program leaves it up to the artists to decide with whom they want to work, based on their artistic concerns and transformative intent.
During 2022, three mentorship processes were initiated:
- Núria Guiu mentored the creation process of Andrea El Ameri.
- Julia Rubies mentored the creation process of Marina Pravkina.
- Maciej Sado mentored the creation process of Guillem Jiménez / la SADCUM (with the support of Institut Ramon Llull and its international mentorship program).
