The mentorship program is aimed at projects selected through open calls for residencies. The purpose of artistic mentorship or external accompaniment is to facilitate a collaboration between a dance professional and one of the residents to create a shared space from an attentive and sensitive perspective at a specific moment in the creative process. The mentorship program is developed in complicity with the participating artists.
Throughout 2023, Graner has organized 4 artistic mentorships with emerging artists and one of the artists from the Practical Methodologies modality:
- Belén Martín (from Mucha Muchacha) accompanied the creation process of Mar García and Javi Soler.
- Hanzel Nezza provided an external perspective on the piece by Clémentine and Lisard.
- María Jérez collaborated with María Jurado.
- Glòria Ros participated in the laboratory and contributed to the drafting of the report on Valeria Primost’s work.
