Context that relates to the annual residents through public call. Through two meetings held at Graner, one at the beginning and one at the end of the year, we propose a space for recognition and celebration to create a community that is connected throughout the year, beyond the periods of residence.

Stable cycle of open rehearsals that puts the resident artists of Graner in dialogue with the closest context: other creators and neighbors from the La Marina neighborhood and the city of Barcelona. Estudi Obert (Open Studio) does not showcase finished performances but rather creation processes that are still in the experimental phase.

Program focused on the emerging artist community in Barcelona working in dance and live arts. Z Project is structured through group moments and individual conversations. Graner invites different artists or other cultural agents to co-curate each edition.

Graner’s discoursive program directly links artistic research with theoretical and academic research, aiming to reflect on the poetics of dance, live arts, and contemporary choreographic languages.

Workshops of practice and bodily events that activate moments of physical action and training through body preparation methodologies from different artists, as well as approaches to an artist’s language to delve into their tools of composition, scenic practice, and imagination.

Mentorship program for various artists in the residency program through a public call. It facilitates the entry of a dance professional into the rehearsal space to create a shared environment from an attentive external perspective at a specific moment in the research and creation processes of the artists.

History of the programs promoted by Graner around the support for creation, reflection, and practices in contemporary dance and performing arts.
