RESOURCES MAP: JAPAN-TAIWAN
In February 2017, invited by the Ramon Llull institute, El Graner-SÂLMON< took part for the first time in the Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama, with the wish to know and establish connections with Asia. It was a new context for us, which we had started to know thanks to the Korean participation at FiraTàrrega. We took part in worktables and in the presentation of the acts of some artists invited by the Ramon Llull institute and other invited organisations (Quim Bigas, Carla Rovira , Raúl Peix, MIRA Festival, Fira Tarrega and Grec Festival Barcelona). From Yokohama, we travelled to Kyoto before heading to Taipei, where, thanks to the Taiwan’s Cultural Office, we learned about festivals, artists and creation spaces. We were ushered by Lin Wei-Lung, who was an excellent liaison with the local scene.
