2n edition of BAR YOLA
Program open to anyone related to pedagogy and interested in the languages of live arts.
* The program will take place in Spanish
Bar Yola is a bar, among other things. One that is located in front of a theatre where we have always gone before and after watching a show, to dilute the anxiety produced by what we were about to see or to discuss what we had just seen. It is also a program that proposes the transfer of theatrical tools to educational contexts adhered to the SÂLMON< Festival. If in the previous edition we were sitting at the bar, in 2020 we go all the way into the bar’s kitchen. Through different work sessions, we are going to participate in some of the creation processes that lead to the programmed pieces, as well as their dissolution in eyes, memory and life. But, above all, we will place our focus on the similarities between the black box and the classroom, the theatre and the nature of learning, where they can come together, how close they have always been. Bar Yola opens again and we find Fer and Javi, as always, this time with more friends.
Javier Cruz: I work on projects related to design, performance art, masonry and the performance powers related to orality and other textualities, often leading to the design of situations. I have worked individually and with the groups Elgatoconmoscas and PLAYdramaturgia, usually as an artist and occasionally as a curator or teacher. I have formed part of the programming team at Teatro Pradillo and currently at the Bosque R.E.A.L. festival. In recent years I have collaborated with the artists Cris Blanco, María Jerez, Nyamnyam and Cuqui Jerez.
Fernando Gandasegui: Wander between creation, curatorship, research, critique and pedagogy in live and visual arts. I formed part of the programming team at Teatro Pradillo and the group PLAYdramaturgia. I currently coordinate the web platform or open community of performance arts, Teatron.
